All of Estate Security key holdings are held in secure containers each with its own unique reference number, which does not identify the keys to your property. All keys held are fully insured for your peace of mind.

In the unfortunate event of a break–in, Estate Security will provide the following services:
· Following the receipt of an alarm activation by your alarm monitoring company, a response unit will be dispatched to your premises. With very tight defined patrol areas, we are never far away.
· If there is any visible confirmation of a forced entry we will inform both the Police and yourselves.
· We will also arrange for necessary repairs to be carried out and remain at your premises until they are secure and the alarm has been reset.
· A detailed report of the action taken will be left on your premises for your information.
No matter how new or sophisticated your intruder system is, false alarms remain a fact of life, with only 11% of alarm activations caused by actual break-ins.
For business customers, the risks associated with using a member of your own staff to respond as primary key holder are considerable:
· Your staff may be at risk of assault when responding to alarm activations out of hours.
· There is no guarantee that staff acting as key holders will always be capable of attending alarm activations, especially late at night.
· Alarm activations during the night or morning could impact on the ability of that member of staff to carry out their usual duties the following day due to stress or lack of sleep.
